Borumbaia Zürich is a percussion group based in Zürich, inspired by the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Brazilian Blocos and enriched by diverse cultural influences. Founded in 2017, Borumbaia Zürich became the sister group of the original Borumbaia batucada, based in Spain. We are blending a wide range of musical traditions and styles into dynamic performances that captivate audiences.
We love to share our positive vibes and energy through concerts, supporting meaningful political movements, and offering engaging workshops and team-building experiences for groups of up to 60 people. Whether it’s a public festival or a private show for your birthday, wedding, or special event, we make every occasion truly special.
